Soft white is a good color for most indoor spaces throughout the day, though it should be noted that this isn't the same as "warm white". 1100 Lumens is quite bright, so they definitely are good at lighting up a whole room. That being said, for more than $30 for a pack of six, this is definitely an expensive buy. You can easily buy lightbulbs for much cheaper. In addition to dimmingbrightening, it also has a one hour timer that will automatically shut the light off. Thats a great feature for bedtime. I thought I was getting 2 bulbs but I just got one.
