This propagation mat provides bottom heat that enhances germination and rooting. It comes with a digital temperature controller. This seeding and propagation mat is ideal for placing 2 standard trays end-to-end. It warms the rooting area to 10-20 degrees above ambient temperature. Place it under a 4-foot fluorescent fixture and ensure the bottom surface of your trays will be heated uniformly. Daisy-chain up to 10 mats to reduce the number of power outlets being used and run multiple mats to a single outlet. The heavy-duty construction allows you to use the mat reliably for years on end. The MTPRTC Digital Temperature Controller is new and improved. The 1000-watt heat mat thermostat is digital for greater accuracy. It provides constant optimum temperatures for specific crops and controls the temperature in colder or warmer environments. The MTPRTC has a controllable range of temperature from 68 to 108 degrees Fahrenheit or, for those who prefer the Celsius readout option on the controller, 20 to 42 degrees. This controller is compatible with all heat mats but is optimized for seedling heat mats. The controller comes with an illuminator indicator light and a 3-prong ground plug, making it easy to hook up and use.

We have 2 of these attached to the thermostat and they seem to be working okay. The temps overnight have been down to 30s and the mats are working constantly to achieve the desired temp. We have now added a propane heater to the mix which seems to help bring the inside temp up enough to allow mats to work as intended.. Tammy. NC. Sun Nov 24 2024

This is a great mat for my worm composer. It is heavier than burlap and holds in the moisture better. It is easy to trim to fit the bin exactly. These thickened fabric plant grow bags come in 7 vibrant colors with reinforced stitching and strong handles. They provide excellent air circulation and drainage for healthier roots — perfect for balconies, patios, backyards, and terraces.

I had the opportunity to try this seven pack of 5 gallon plant roll bags from the Wayfair tri and true program. Upon initial inspection, they seem to be sturdy, the handles are reinforced. They are ample size and they come in seven bright eye catching colors. As you can see from my pictures, this container is up to hold this larger cactus that needs to be transplanted. That being said I’m getting this three stars because you’re stitching on the bottom of this container is rather than and flimsy. There’s no doubt in my mind this whole and will be good for lighter weight plants that do not have deep root growth. However, because the bottom doesn’t seem to be reinforced in its stitching I question its ability to withstand, sitting outside, being watered and being rained on. Furthermore, a plan with any deep fruit growth, for example, this cactus will grow through this kind of garden fabric, making it difficult to move the bag or empty it out at the end of the summer. On the surface, these are cute and useful, but I don’t see these being a long-term container solution for my patio garden. That’s why I’m giving this only a three star review. Three star simply based on the aesthetics and a one time only deal for an annual plants.. Cathi Kmieciak. US. Wed May 27 2026
