These lamps exceeded our expectations! They arrived well packaged, and even though I had already cut the box open before taking pictures, everything inside was protected and arrived in perfect condition. The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. They look much more expensive than they actually are and fit our space perfectly. Overall, this was another great Wayfair purchase. I ordered these lamps to replace the ones that were on our bedside tables and I love them! I also liked that they operate by touch to turn on/off. It's so simple now. The shade is white, so when the light is on, it brightens the room more. The lamps came with light bulbs saving an extra order or a trip to the store to buy them. That was a plus to me. At first I was concerned that the base was small and the lamp might tip over because it could be top heavy, but this isn't the case at all.
