The quality and the graph-ruby color are outstanding. The ruby fabric has tiny black lines which enhance the color and make it look good. It is not a shy red - plenty bright. Needed two counter stools in red and black and these were just the ticket! They are very sturdy and the cushion is comfortable and just the right color of red! Assembly was easy according to my husband. The only thing I would say is that I have a little trouble reaching the bottom foot support and I am fairly tall. The set of replacement bar stools was in perfect condition! I love the chairs, but I will admit that I have to get used to the fact that they do not automatically return to their original position when you stand up! However, the first set of chairs I received were obviously returned by a previous customer; they had been partially unwrapped with hardware removed and loose in the box, and there was a large dent in the back of one of the chairs. In addition, the stain on both seats was not applied correctly and visibly damaged. Very solid, easy to attach seat to the base. They are very attractive stools. The only thing I’m not a fan of, and the reason I’m knocking stars off, is that the way the seats were constructed doesn’t match on the two stools I ordered. The wood on one stool is made of 2 inch pieces of wood and the other of 3 inch pieces. This makes the seats look quite different IMO. I’m not sure what exchanging them would result in... Ashley. After less than a month of use, the material on the seat has started to pull away. Think fake leather and the "Plasticity" green color is pulling off of the backing.
