Replaced a set of typical folding doors in my smaller sized Laundry Rm and one to the Furnace Rm at the end of a short hallway. In both cases, the Mirrored Doors definitely expandlengthen their spaces!! I was too anxious to get them up and so will Stain and Clear Coat now, after installation [time will tell if that waswasn’t wise]. I really wanted a lighter natural colored wood (maple or pine) and these were just perfect. WisH LisT 1) the Sticker Labels removed neatly so that while having to leave the Glass Film Coat intact until the trim is treated they wouldn’t look Sooo awful [I’ve also read the Film Coating is a nightmare to remove], 2) there wasn’t such a large space between the Doors when closed, 3) the Back was Finished in some fashion (even if the price was higher) OR at least a photo of the foam backing was shown up front prior to purchase. Aesthetically the bifold door is absolutely beautiful. Its heavy and well made. However, I do not like the placement of the knob as it is somewhat difficult to open without putting your hand towards the top bend of the door to help open it. The 80" & 96" Double White Primed Panel Bi-Fold Door is a beautiful and well built door. Important Concern: The moment you receive this door, place the door, while still in the box, in your garage for at least 2 weeks. The box and door have an extremely strong chemical scent that is unbearable and strong. If you immediately install this door, you will regret it. The smell is so strong, it will permeate your entire home. To continue with other aspects, some assembly is required, but it not difficult.
