The security frames are different than traditional front-loading snap frames. The standard snap frames are an innovative design of all four sides of the frame that are spring-loaded to snap up and open, after placing the print and then simply snapping all the sides of the frame to a close (shut) position. Security Frames provide an extra level of protection for the inserted display. Compared to the standard snap frames these poster frames are impossible to open by hand, the sides can be opened with a lever tool, a hand-held side opening tool.
