Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor. Was halfway through unboxing this when I realized I was sent the larger cabinet. Appears to have been a stock keeping error. No problem, return is easy and painless. I have ordered from Wayfair before and worried about the quality, however this shelf is very high quality and durable. It was easy to put together and looks really good! I ordered 2 of these shelf units as well as 3 of the narrow kitchen pantry units and put them all together along a wall in my craft/library room. They look great and they really are super durable. We had a very small pantry and needed more pantry space. We have 10 ft ceilings, so I liked that the height of this cabinet and the # of shelves. I also liked that the shelves were adjustable. We had a nice empty wall in our laundry room where we put it. Fairly easy to assemble. Great price. There are some small dents in the cabinet - you only notice them if you're looking for them.
