24x12 Aquarium Stand

I’m 72 and put this together myself. The instructions didn’t always match the picture guide, but I did get it together. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is from the very first screws I inserted there was some of the cabinet that flaked up. But once the screw was in place it wasn’t noticeable. It seems very sturdy. I have cement floors and had to add sliding pads to make it level. The back metal poles have a place to screw something in but nothing was included? I felt like that may have been leveling screws. There is none identified in parts of the ad. Love the large storage to hide all supplies. Cathy. Theodore, AL. Mon Apr 13 2026

This stand feels very sturdy. The frame is solid and doesnt wobble at all, and the farmhouse style in black looks great. Assembly wasnt too hard, and the instructions were easy to follow. The drawer and two-door cabinet give you plenty of hidden storage, and theres a handy space for routing cords. Its actually so stable that Im using it for my 3D printer instead of a terrarium. This is a pretty okay piece. It seems to be sturdy. We have a large fish tank on it, and it's not wobbly or anything. I was hoping it would be thicker, nicer wood, but it will do what we bought it for.. Weezie. Ohio. Tue Jun 23 2026

This stand seems very sturdy! The open back and moveable interior shelf are nice for keeping cords hidden and things organized. It's not real wood and doesn't look as such but it does look better than typical aquarium stands and looks more like regular furniture. I gave it 4 stars since it is nice but adding the hinges and getting the doors to match height is challenging. The doors are also slightly different sizes.. Anonymous. Midland, TX. Mon Aug 31 2026

Our 40 gal fish stand showcases a sleek modern design that complements various home decor styles.

Great aquarium stand for my 40 gallon breeder. I’ve got 25 years in the hobby and have been through enough water-related disasters to know not to cut any corners with your stand. I’m satisfied with this one. Pros -This is actually a nice looking piece of furniture. Closed storage space means no exposed equipment and cords. Doors and drawers aligned perfectly. -No wobbles or side to side movement. You can’t tell from the photos, but there’s a metal crossbar that attaches to the tabletop and runs the length of the stand, attaching to the metal side frames. -The corners of my 40 gallon breeder sit directly on top of the metal frame. Since the corners of the tank bear the most weight, this is ideal. I can’t count the number of stands I’ve seen on Wayfair and elsewhere where the aquarium rests entirely on a pressed wood tabletop with no frame pieces directly beneath, which is a crazy design choice. -Instructions are clear, just look carefully at the diagram. Came with 1-2 extra of each hardware piece which is nice. Cons -Yeah, it’s 90 particleboard which is notoriously weakened when it gets wet. I got a piece of clear vinyl and cut it so there’s a 12” overhang all around the tabletop, so when I inevitably splash some water it will drip away from the stand. -I wish I could have put the built-in power outlet on the other side. Not a big deal but would be nice if you could switch the side pieces to allow for that. -I wish the stand had a metal crossbar on the bottom or a cross brace across the back. It seems solid enough but this would really take it to the next level. -Shelves aren’t adjustable and once you put the stand together you’re stuck with them. Others have noted if you want to use a canister filter you need to leave one out. I think they provide additional shear stability so I’m not sure I would want to do that. -Adjustable feet are plastic which is an odd choice for something holding 500lbs. Personally I would not use the feet to level the stand, I would just use wood shims. Overall I’m very pleased with this aquarium stand and recommend it!. Linden. Philadelphia, PA. Sat Sep 19 2026

Double-Tier Fish Tank Stand with Side Shelf This double-tier fish tank stand holds 20-29 gallon tanks on each level - fish on the tabletop, plants below. A built-in power outlet (2AC+1Type-C+1USB-A) covers all your electrical needs. The 5-tier side shelf installs on the left or right to fit your space. Sturdy particleboard with 6 legs and reinforced back bars offers solid support. Leveling feet and an anti-tip kit add extra stability. One stand that brings order to your aquatic world.

Once again, I am very impressed with Wayfair’s packaging. This shelf came disassembled and packed extremely well- plenty of foam and cardboard to keep all the pieces secure. It took me about one hour to assemble. The directions include instructions for both orientations, so you could put the shelf tower on the right or the left as desired. It is quite sturdy and the sleek design ensures the shelf unit kind of hides in the background of whatever is on display. There is clearly a lot of room for bigger tanks, as my ten gallon tank almost looks a little small. My only criticism of the piece is with the attached power supply. It came with plug-ins for two standard cords, one USB and one USB-C. My basic tank assembly needs space for four plugs, so not quite enough. Still, it’s a solid unit that will last me many years and I’m looking forward to adding another tank in the near future.. Erika. Neenah, WI. Thu Oct 15 2026
