Buying an unfinished linen cabinet is a great choice if you want high-quality solid wood construction at a fraction of the cost of pre-finished furniture. I am mostly happy with this armoire. We are using this for my son who doesn’t have great closet space. It has largely accomplished what we wanted. I took off one star for the quality (it’s not bad but the closet doors don’t sit at the same height and there was a minor chip - it is particle board with veneer). I also don’t like the positioning of the hanging rod. The closet might work for little kid clothes and hangers, but it does not work well for larger clothes. My son wears youth large clothes. Some of them drag on the floor of this armoire and we have to shove the clothes back when we shut the door so that things don’t get caught in it. The bar needs to sit up further and back a tad. It’s nice! More for a kids room short like others mentioned. The photo with the side table is misleading as I thought both pieces were together. I had to order a side table hoping the color matches.
