We are enjoying our bookcase. The light color fits in just fine with the other colors of bookcases. It was pretty easy to put together. Just two negatives - I wish I could remove the nubs (that join the units together) on the top unit, and the company sticker on the unit was a bear to get off - I don’t know why companies put them on the unit like that! Well, this is exactly what I wanted. I'm very disappointed in the woodgrain "look", and the fact that some of it was peeling off the particle board as I was trying to put it together. Also, the directions are extremely poor! They don't show front/back, or any of that. IT was very confusing and difficult to put together. It has "a b c d e f g", et cetera on all of the pieces listed in the catalog, but the only things that were marked on the items to put together was a and b. Very disappointing! I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper.
