There are a lot of nice touches and well thought designed to these camping cots- side pocket for storing phoneheadlamp, easy handholds for collapsing, mattress pad with bungee cords to help secure it when it’s rolled up. The carrying bags are snug and do not allow room for the mattress pad. They also are really kind of large so in packing a car full of camping gear. It really is an investment in your space.. Evelyn. Practical but Not Very Comfortable This foldable bed is very practical and convenient, especially when you need an extra sleeping space or a temporary bed. It is easy to fold and store. However, it is not very comfortable for extended use because, after a while, you can feel the metal frame through the mattress. The folding camping cot looks like is made with quality materials and strong enough for heavy people. I love the convenience design to open and close it easily. Initially, the locking mechanisms to hold it open, were very difficult to lock into place. After holding my tongue between my teeth, emitting a low growl and a bit of elbow grease, I was able to make them, click. I wasn't too sure if this cot was going to be sturdy enough for me. But, sure enough, it holds both me (118lb) and my 70lb dog. He loves it alone too. Easy to clean and store. Plus there are so many possibilities with this cot.
