The AMXCHEF came undamaged and fully packaged to prevent any dents. I had reviewed past posts that had complained of this and I believed they have since corrected this problem with re-enforced cardboard edges. This oven will be placed in a fireproof custom built cabinet for outdoor use on enclosed covered patio. I have not been able to test the oven yet as it has to be hardwired for electricity.. Cheryl. The oven door does not stay open to take out the hot item. Need my husband to hold it open while I remove the item. Also the temperature is way off. I set it at 350 degrees. Just installed next to my convection oven and it looks great! I tried the time cook and the 30 seconds warm option and it’s working perfectly. I have not tried the other options yet. It’s very easy to use. Price is a little high compared to a regular microwave. The drawer option is great for shorter people. The only thing that I didn’t like is that it was advertised as made in Italy when I was researching online. And so I bought it. The other drawer microwave I was looking to purchase has a very long wait time. When it was getting installed I saw that it is made in China. Product is what we needed as the kitchenette required a smaller microwave. Product arrived damaged but nothing would have indicated damage looking at packaging. The damaged parts (dents on both sides) were easily concealed when installed but that was also a bit of a hassle. My husband is an electrician & has hung quite a few microwaves, yet he wasn't a fan of the install. We tested after install, it works & no issues with the unit at the moment (not being used as we aren't moved in at the moment). We did contact Wayfair about issues, they contacted Danby on my behalf & Danby contacted me the next day.
