First off let me say it took 2 of us to put it together. Was very easy. About 45 minutes. It is a nice storage bin. Not as sturdy and strong as I thought it would be. The box is very nice and I am happy with my purchase. It is huge and holds all of the things I needed it to. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was delivered via FedEx and in true FedEx fashion they had dropped the box on the corner. Very roomy deck box. Looks nice. Fairly easy to assemble with two people. It's big! The directions for assembling it could be a little better -- small print and not very clear diagrams. My only real disappointment with the box is that rain gets in along the center seam in the top. If I were to do it again, I would buy a waterproof box, not just weather resistant. I use it for storing my sectional cushions, so water getting in was problematic. We remedied the issue by using duct tape on the interior along the seam. Fingers crossed that it holds. Bought this to store the pool floats and toys in because I was sick of carrying them back and forth from the garage. Now, most everything fits in it on the pool deck with room to spare for small things. I have four blown up pool floats (one of which is bulky with a unicorn head and tail), a small kiddy pool float, some pool noodles, padel boards, and the deck umbrella. And like i said i still have room to add any smaller items. Very spacious. Fairly easy to put together. I put most of it together by myself. Attaching the lid to the hinges on the box was the final step and I did need my husband to help with this. I had a hard time keeping it in place while I tried to screw on each side. It seems sturdy enough so far. I am worried about how to use it in the winter without mice nesting in it. We had a shed that the mice took over and made super disgusting. So Im not sure that Id store anything in this over the winter. There are spaces at the bottom for air flow that the mice can easily access. I ordered the brown color, or chocolate is a better description. I do like the look of the wood design in the paneling. It took about 30 minutes for my hubby to build; not bad I thought. This is large. I included a picture of my 16lb Shih Tzu to give a visual of how large this box is. It could definitely hold bench cushions, fire pit blankets, pool toys and floats, yard tools, gardening soil bags. The ideas are endless with this much space. There is a hydraulic closing and opening. Don't expect it to open and close without some help but it does stay up and doesn't slam shut. It claims the box lid is good for seating, as well. That 330lbs can be held on each side or 660 on full top. I am not too sure of that. I am no skinny chick, but I don't weigh 330lbs either. I did sit on it but was leery to sit fully on it. I stayed close to a side support. It was okay feeling sitting there but not too sure of that full weight claim. There is a locking feature. Which is nice, but I think if someone truly wanted inside of it, it would take them a little bit longer, but they could get past it. We did test the water-proof claim. We ran a water hose on top of the lid and along the back and side panels. The first 2 times, it did leak. But after seeing if something was built right, that is what we found. There are snaps along the back panel that allow 2 small panels to connect together to create on long panel. After putting on the hydraulic supports those came slightly loose without my hubby realizing it. Here's a TIP: Use a clamp to secure them until you hear a "snap." I included a photo and circled those spots in red. Once that was done....it was waterproof. We tested 3 more times to be sure and it stayed dry. Phew. I gave it 3 stars for the reason of the claim of weight it can hold and the material it is made of it not super thick for what I would think would be a "hard" type of material. It has a small flimsy feel to the lid. I hope it lasts a few years and doesn't fade too much in the sun. Overall, I am good with this product and but most glad that it is large and waterproof.. I’m not qualified to say a product is Commercial Grade material; however, I will say it is a hard plastic and not a rubber material. Everything sort of snapped together except for the top and I had to have help. Getting the hooks snapped to the lid was very difficult.
