Few things to note 1. Don’t try to swap the drawer sides or you have a massive gap on the side from the desktop 2. The instructions show you the sides swapped with the flat side of the shelf unit facing out - this is a dirty trick. Don’t try it or you off center desk. 3. Swap step 8 and 7. You’ll thank me later. 4. 2-4 hours is a lie IF you follow the directions. I had to rework 3 times which put me at 5-6 hours of putting together. 5. I waited 5 months for this desk to come back into stock. Although it’s the look I wanted, the rework and cussing was not to my satisfaction. This desk is Great! I must have looked at a hundred desks of all price ranges and finally got this one. It was a great price and has a good amount of storage in the drawers. Looks better in person. It did take a good bit of time to assemble but instruction were good and had no issues. I think the only missed opportunity is there is wasted space behind the drawers you can’t get to because the drawers can’t be removed. I knew this space was there and was hoping to use it to hide the computer wires. I did this anyway but had to take part of the desk top off after building it to make it happen.
