The only way this could be better is if it was made of real wood but then it'd cost too much. Easy instruction, easy build. My only complaint is i would like the sliding doors in the front instead of back, especially since its against the wall. I love this lighted cabinet. It was fairly easy to put together. It took me about an hour and a half and the instructions were easy to follow. It could have probably taken me less to assemble but I took my time because of the glass. I wanted to be careful and make sure it didn’t get damaged during the process. I like that the lights are still plug in and not battery operated. They are stick on so all you have to do is peel and stick. I’m hoping to use it to fill with all of my marathon medals. This is pretty decent quality. Not high end for sure but perfect for my game room as a display for my statues I paint. When building it, it seems unstable and wobbly but once you put the clips in the back its very solid and stable. I recommend adding self adhesive felt to the bottom of the furniture when building it. The LEDS work well but it could use another set on the second shelves of each section so I am going to add two more strips to mine. The LEDS are also at a very bright white range so I'm replacing the existing ones with 5500k temp lights that will display the colors more correctly. This shelf overall is fine but it feels kinda cheap. The glass is good quality, but there are a few small issues. The first issue has to do with fitment. It was a bit of challenege getting the glass to fully line up. It is as if the back panel is ever so slightly not straight. When I went to put on the top, there are slits the glass goes into and plastic edge protectors that hold all the glass together. Everything lined up on the bottom but when I put the top on it was off by about half an inch. I was able to get it to fit, but had to remove the glass from the edge protector on one side. The second issue I have is with the doors. The framing of them kind of blocks some of the view of the cabinent. I didnt think this would bother me at all and for the most psrt it doesnt, but it is more noticeable then I first thought. That is however part of the design so its on me. Third issue is the light is kind of weird. There is nothing really holding it in. Its easy to install as you kind of just shove it in there, but the top of the cabinent doesnt have any grooves to hide the cord, plus you have to open the cabinent to turn it on and off. Im going to look to see if there is anyway to upgrade this myself later. The last issue is that it is kind of loud opening and closing it. That is really where the cheapness aspect comes from. The framing is all aluminum and it rattles a bit when opening and closing the door which shouodnt be too much of a problem once I fill it up as I wont be opening or closing it as often.. Daniel. I gave this 5 stars, but not because of ease of assembly; it is difficult and definitely requires 2 people. However, considering it's 6 sheets of tempered glass, it's not going to be easy. It did, however, go together properly. Parts were bagged and labeled well. There are some spare parts, but not many, so be careful, especially with the little teflon washers and rubber o-rings. The o-rings have to be stretched over metal things with a groove; do NOT leave off the o-rings, even though it looks like you can, because those are what the shelves rest on. Pay close attention to the instructions, except for step 6 expanded view; the side panels need to go outside the back panels; the drawing makes it look like they go inside. But once I got it all together, it looks great! Well worth the price. And the most amazing thing about it is that 6 sheets of heavy glass, each 6 feet tall, were shipped from Georgia to Texas and had no damage. A masterly feat of logistics!. Jerry. San Angelo, TX.
