I'm using this non see threw pivot glass door on entrance to my master bedroom at the end of a hall in my new manufactured home. It gives privacy without making the hall dark. Love it. Please note that trimming will damage the finish, also any edge that was trimmed should be sealed, stained, or painted to prevent moisture from entering the wood. These doors were perfect. Packaged SO well and good quality. They are very heavy and feel solid. However the description says solid wood… they definitely are not. When I notched out the hinges it appeared to have an mdf core, at least where the hinges go. But that doesn’t bother me. They feel solid and heavy!
