Been using the 20x25x4 for multiple years now. Filters work great, I replace mine every 90 days in my house. Never had any issues or concerns about quality or construction of the filters. I've seen many complaints about the 1" thick filters and while I understand their concerns; a 1" thick filter is old technology and should consider getting a larger filter box. I find the complaints about the tabs holding the pleats in the filter where you may have to push a few back trivial. You're buying a MERV 11 equivalent disposable filter, again DISPOSABLE. It wasn't long ago when everyone was just using the blue fiberglass air filters.. There is a balance between retail cost and manufacturing cost. This air purifier is very simple to use. It has the three colors- it’s very simple they ring on the front is big and you can clearly see the colors Red is bad, green is excellent, and yellow is good for the air quality. This covers 2500 ft.²! Amazing! After approximately an hour or so, the ring turned green. It’s very simple to change when necessary. The filter is on the side. It has directions. The book is super easy to read. It came assembled with the filter already in place. The top has a few buttons as shown in the picture. And you can put it on a timer, which is great.
