Love this addition to our coffee table. My only complaint is that the picture shows square edges but they are actually round. No biggie here, but different from what is pictured. My family plays all the time!. Christina. Dayton, OH. Wed May 20 2026

The intrinsic, natural beauty of the marble chess set, along with its smooth polished finish and weighty presence make it a superb gift or casual chess set for any chess lover. The marble stone's natural veins and swirls are unique to every set. As a result, these marble chess sets are wonderful gift ideas. Our unique chess sets make for ideal graduation gifts, wedding gifts, housewarming gifts, Christmas gifts, Father's Day gifts, birthday gifts, and holiday gifts, and perfect for any occasion.

Beautiful, solid, and a pleasure to play on This marble chess set is even nicer in person than in the photos. The board is heavy and sits firmly on the table, and the polished marble has a natural veining that makes it look like a real piece of décor. It stays out on our coffee table even when no one is playing. The pieces are well carved and easy to tell apart, with a good weight that makes moving them satisfying. The felt on the bottoms keeps them from scratching the board and makes them glide smoothly. The two colors contrast well, so it’s easy to read the position during a game. It arrived well packed, with every piece protected and nothing chipped. The one thing to know is that marble is heavy and can chip if a piece is dropped, so it isn’t the best choice for young kids. For adults or as a gift, though, it’s excellent. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a chess set that’s as nice to look at as it is to play on. If you tell me the brand, the colors, who you bought it for, or anything you didn’t love about it, I can make the review more specific to your set.. Ach Group. Rockville, MD. Tue Oct 13 2026

Love It! Just the right size for me for my purposes - and the pieces are detailed and not "rough" looking carvings - which are not to my tastes - they are plastic but look very much like ivory (the cream colored) and wooden (the brown ones). They do have some magnetism - and they are clear for a beginner since the tallest is the king, and so forth - as it seems standard regulation chess pieces to orient a beginner are best to do. The set is labelled for children to adults.. Barbara. Houston, Texas. Thu Mar 09 2023
