Cool Contours 1 pays homage to the great Hilma af Klint, the Swedish painter and mystic credited with creating some of the earliest known abstract pieces in Western art history. This piece offers an inviting biomorphic theme with its boldly defined organic shapes. A heavy black contour line plays a distinct role by providing the eye with a focal point while hand-drawn marks offer a counterpoint. The cool color palette presents a contrast with alabaster and eggshell white alongside denim and steel blue all punctuated by a pop of mustard yellow and chocolate brown. The dance of color and form gently invites the viewer in. Common forms are reimagined in this exquisite addition to art by TA. Pairs beautifully with Cool Contours 2.

Brad Ellis is a Texas-based artist whose focus is on abstract painting. Throughout his career, he has continually experimented with imagery from tightly rendered, systematic patterns to loosely constructed, expressionistic compositions. He has distinguished himself by embracing the ancient medium of encaustic which is hot wax painting and is a process by which heated beeswax is mixed with pigments and applied to board or canvas and then fused to the surface with a heat source. Brad approaches each new painting with the same consistency that he's employed for many years now which he referred to as “Pattern, Rhythm, and Process.” He typically starts each painting by building up layers of paper and/or fabric collage materials by cutting and mounting these pieces onto the canvas or board and arranging them in a way to form the underlying pattern of the painting. This helps lay the foundation for the initial imagery and paves the way for the applications of the other mediums.

The Artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the art institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and fine art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

Never Alone 1 combines elements of both modern and contemporary art to create an innovative work of art on canvas. The abstract nature of the work including the overall composition and color choice speaks to its modern side while the use of hand-drawn lines and graffiti marks situates it in the contemporary realm. The color scheme in steel gray, khaki, baby blue, and cream gives the work a modern feel. A graceful blend of earth tones allows the eye to be drawn toward a central abstract form in this exclusive addition to a collection.

Each canvas is painted entirely by hand by one studio artist from start to finish! No two will ever be alike!

I bought two of these canvases to flank on either side of a fireplace. Art is represented well online. Excited to get them installed! Would recommend if considering.. Sarah. Tomball, TX. Mon May 25 2026

Simple White, original oil on canvas painting, is an experiment with white paint as it has subtle reflections of all colors of Universe. Though these reflections may not be visible to the naked eye and might require a microscope to observe, they subtly impart the energy of all colors onto the canvas, influencing our subconscious perception. White color often evokes feelings of relaxation, while pure paints provide a rejuvenating experience.

Summers Greenery 1 is reminiscent of American Abstract Expressionist painter Helen Frankenthaler who was known for her major contributions to the history of postwar American painting. She developed her distinctive and innovative "soak-stain" technique in the early 1950s by pouring thinned oil paint directly onto a raw, unprimed canvas laid on the ground, allowing the colors to soak into the fabric. Summers Greenery 1, a large-scale, non-representational work on canvas, carries on that method by applying thinned layers of color to achieve both translucency and saturation. A wide swathe of thin paint extends across the top of the painting and has been allowed to drip down the canvas, another hallmark of Abstract Expressionism. Muted tones and pastels in sage, alabaster, and khaki, with splashes of cerulean and mustard, bring forward a contemplative mood in this original work of art on canvas. Part of the carefully curated and exclusive collection.
