It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. I got 2 of these for my animals. We made it into a chicken coop and a peacock and pigeon coop. It’s a really good size for them. We got a few rolls of hardware cloth and my husband got some 2x4’s, he put a concrete foundation so animals can’t dig in. The animals love it and so do I. I will say the final product is beautiful, feels sturdy but won’t really know until, I use it more. I won’t lie, it was a mission to be built. I originally booked someone to build it, but my delivery didn’t come together as expected and one part was delivered late and I still had to pay for the build but couldn’t get it built and neeeded to do it myself. If you have 4-6 capable humans, you can get it done in 6-8 hours but I did it with 2 and it took 2 days and a half days. The half day, was because we had to peel the plastic off the roof pieces and they were stuck on due to the heat from transporting this item to me. I will say be very careful during that process we had a lot of cuts on our hands and legs from this process, it was unnecessarily dangerous. We got the frame up in one day, the roof in the other and then the nets and curtain. We added a fan but there isn’t really a structure to run the wiring for the fan, like hooks or anything, to bring it down to the Elric which was disappointing. We do love the color, and love the double nets, but can’t describe the logevitubof the final product as we’ve only had it up a week. We thing we like is at the top of the roof, there are bug guards in the vents of the roof to prevent bugs coming in, which I’ve seen others that don’t have this. Nice Pergola It’s solid but a little lower than I had envisioned. The front has a shallow gutter with ends open. I’m a trying to figure out how to hang a gutter. It’s very hard to drill. I really love the size of it. Putting the frame together was way quicker than I expected. However, the roof portion was very difficult. The wood beams were slightly warped so the wholes on the roof panels were not lining up. Two of us were able to assemble in a weekend (frame in 2 hours but the roof took forever) It seems sturdy, it is real wood, but it does seem the wood would wear down or rot fast.
