I love this rain barrel! Of course, as soon as we installed it, it didn’t rain for almost a month! But when it finally did rain, it filled up fast! I just ordered my second one! It was very easy to install. The only negative things I can say is 1) The top planter was misshaped, but once I put dirt and flowers in it, it fixed itself. There was not a problem flipping it and putting the top on without the planter side up. 2) It seems like when the barrel is filled to the top, the plants sit in muddy water. I like that I didnt have to screw but 2 bolts. The frame snaps together and the tumbler only needs the center partition placed and then the door slides on. 10 minutes! Its nice and sturdy, and easy to tumble. The compost will be easy to remove by sliding the door open and rotating it downward. My compost is only a week into the making and its 80 degrees. Other than that, cleaned them with soap and water, rinsed them out then filled them to test for leaks. I had no leaks so I staged them in a closet filled and treated. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used imported food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rain barrels are made of High-Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. Not all soaker hoses are created equal. Ours is specially made to be used in no-to-low flow applications, specifically with rain barrels. Nice price, quick shipping. The only thing it seems as though the waters seems to beeds from the hose, like it's an inground watering hose. This really doesn't bother me since I would stretch across my lawn anyway. I have it hooked up to my 50 gallon rain barrel, the draining is slow but it works for plants and trees as needed..
