Love this shelving unit. Got scared when the box filled with small parts arrived, but it was super easy to put together and love the solid wood shelves, none of that MDF board. Decided to use it under my kitchen counter. I just didn't use the top shelf, which was possible by just capping it off one level shorter. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic.
