It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Everything seems very durable and we even had a storm blow through today and there were no issues plus my chickens love it.. M Sembera. Sun Sep 13 2026

Sturdy but there seems to be millions of parts, screws and nuts with not great instructions. I put together but myself but would of been easier with 2 people. Quality looks good but will need to use zip ties eventually to replace the ties for the roof. Very disappointed that it went on sale right after I purchased and Wayfair does not refund difference.. If you are a backyard chicken keeper, you know the importance of a good coop. It needs to be safe, and sturdy, and provide ample space for your feathered friends. That's why we are proud to introduce our line of metal chicken coops, designed with both you and your chickens in mind. Our coops are constructed with rust-resistant and durable steel, ensuring they can withstand years of use and exposure to the elements. The plastic-coated hexagonal mesh provides optimal ventilation and keeps even the most determined predators out. Our coops also feature lockable doors, so you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe and secure at all times.

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Tue Sep 01 2026

**Good Value, but Be Prepared for the Wire Mesh** Overall, for the price, this kennel is a good value. The frame is sturdy 4 stars out of 5, the fencing gets 2 stars out of 5 and assembly itself wasn’t too bad. It looks good and should serve its purpose well. A few things to consider: the gate was smaller than I expected, and the top frame bar runs across the entire length of the kennel, leaving an opening under 4 feet in height. At 6’1”, I have to duck every time I enter to change the water or retrieve a toy. That one’s on me for not paying closer attention to the dimensions. My biggest complaint is the wire mesh. During unpacking, the top and bottom wire came unhooked in several places and became tangled. Fixing it required detaching sections and literally reweaving the wire back together. What should have been a straightforward assembly turned into several extra hours of work. After that experience, I feel qualified to start my own fencing company. On the plus side, the kit included gloves, open-end wrench, and drill driver attachment for the self tapping screws were thoughtful additions. **Bottom line:** It looks good and is a decent kennel for the money, but be prepared for some frustration with the wire mesh, and double-check the gate dimensions before purchasing. Customized large heavy duty outdoor dog cage for your loyal partner, enjoy the perfect combination of luxury and utility! Our extra large dog crate provides an ideal living space for our pets. At the same time, the top of the enclosure is equipped with a protective roof, the waterproof cover and steel roof frame of the heavy dog kennel fit perfectly into the outdoor dog cage, and the closed ends provide your pet with complete protection from the sun, rain, snow and debris. Added UV protection prevents tearing, cracking, fading or peeling, giving you years of worry-free use.The roof slope of the dog house allows water, debris and light snow to run away rather than accumulate on the roof. The fence is made of high-strength materials, with high compression and impact resistance, which can effectively prevent large dogs from causing damage to the fence during activities.Eight ground pins help the cage stay firmly on the ground without moving in response to the dog's dash. The lock has two latches that control the direction of the door opening and prevent the dog from escaping. And the small hole under the lock can be padlocked to prevent others from entering the kennel and protect the dog. The modular design makes the dog fence available in a variety of combinations, which can be flexibly adapted to your actual needs. Choosing this oversized outdoor dog cage is to choose a safe, healthy and happy living space for your pet, making love and companionship more warm and lasting!

My geese and ducks love it! Bought another one for my dogs. Definitely sturdy and took about an hour to put it together.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 27 2026

Is your dog going through your wrought iron, aluminum, or wood fence? We have a simple solution without using an unsightly barrier or unnecessary shock collars. These types of fences were not designed with smaller dogs in mind. With the Dog Proofer fence barrier kit, you can quickly and easily create a long-lasting barrier around your fence. Made of black powder-coated galvanized heavy gauge wire the barrier tends to work well for smaller dogs with limited jumping ability. The welded wire squares are 1.75" x 1.75" so your dog cannot get through it, but so that you and your pet can easily see through it. The welded wire can also be trimmed to accommodate certain heights or to work around obstructions in the fence line. This quick fix for your dog getting through your fence is installed easily with only a pair of heavy-duty snips aviation snips/tin snips and fasteners appropriate for your fence type see more about that below.
