I wired the lights into my existing low voltage patio lights for convenience as it comes with separate cords for the pump and lights. We wanted a water feature to entice hummingbirds and don’t have yard space for anything major. This fountain is pretty, good quality and the water cascading sound is very pleasant. But, the first one didn’t even make it 2 summers. We had to replace the pump and it lasted a few weeks. Now the same fountain which I’ve had 2 seasons like the 1st one, broke. The top metal cup just broke off. We tried different ways to re-attach it as it is the one that the water is going thru but to no avail.
