Packaged rather nicely, but still came with a few minor chips. I did appreciate the pre-drilled holes and the fact that it came with its own little screwdriver which came in handy in some of the tight corners. Some of the wood was weirdly stained but in the end if it’s going outside it’s not going to be perfect and the rustic look is a choice. Bought two and liked em so much, bought another one. The only knock with the stars, was the lack of cross bar support,(which we added as shown in one photo) all the plastic film. Took longer to take off than to put together… and there was still scratches and dents. Would much preferred protection that we could have tossed in the bed like we did the boxes.. Donna.
