The enclosed directions for this 32 gallon, water resistant, and lockable resin deck box was extremely easy to follow and took me less than 15 minutes to put it together and requiring no tools to assemble. It not only is solidly held together, but is lightweight and easily moved with the built in side handles. I will be using it to store my small garden tools , gloves, and the bags of plant food for my spring and summer flowering plants, as it requires very little space to keep handy next to my side deck near my many garden beds. I ordered this Deck Box to keep in my garden area for my gloves, garden tools etc. Having in the garden would allow me to keep all my most used tools right in the garden and save me multiple trips to the garage for needed supplies or tools. One concern was that it would not be water proof. That concern is no longer. We had a down pour the next day after I placed this 31 gallon deck box in my garden. I just checked this morning and it stayed completely dry inside. Perfect. This is a great size for my needs, doesn't take up a lot of room and placed in the corner of my garden is out of the way. Our rain barrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used imported food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rain barrels are made of High-Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will dissipate after a few full barrel filling cycles. Our 55-gallon gray barrels are a great “neutral” color that looks nice with the green plants and trees in your garden. They hide well behind deciduous trees and bushes, and won’t clash with any color house. Heavy-duty screening keeps mosquitoes out. Our rain barrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used overseas food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rain barrels are made of high-density polyethylene plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the spring and fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will dissipate after a few full barrel-filling cycles. We use a ph-balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. These barrels keep difficult to break down plastics from adding bulk to landfills and also contain and repurpose stormwater.
