These stands seem very sturdy, they look nice and I think they are a good size. They did take a while to assemble, because of so many screws by me using a screwdriver. It would’ve been quicker using a drill bit to put the screws in. I did drill some holes into the bottom for extra drainage. After only a week outside the screws are all rusting.. Joann. they are sturdy once you have the dirt in them, but seem a bit flimsy when empty. Be careful filling them, as I had my neighbor help me fill with his john deer and we had to go very slowly and level the dirt in layers so it didnt warp the shape. Packaged rather nicely, but still came with a few minor chips. I did appreciate the pre-drilled holes and the fact that it came with its own little screwdriver which came in handy in some of the tight corners. Some of the wood was weirdly stained but in the end if it’s going outside it’s not going to be perfect and the rustic look is a choice. I took these pictures with it only half filled to show what it looked like underneath. It is hard to tell if there is any underneath base inside even though it says it does not in the description. Sometimes, I know that can be missed. Since it is not closed in underneath, you can use either more soil like we are doing here, or use your own yard dirt/soil.
