I am obsessed with these lockers!! I never knew (silly me) that you could order lockers just to like have in your house! I ordered these for my son. He’s obsessed with basketball so we did a whole basketball themed room for Christmas. They’re like 200 pounds though so they have not been taken upstairs to his room yet. Only gave 4 starts instead of five because one of the latches gets stuck and doesn’t automatically latch shut like it should.. Victoria. Clinton, IL. Fri Jan 17 2025

Salsbury 62000 series 12-inch wide double-tier standard metal lockers are constructed of 16 gauge steel. The lockers are available for colleges, high schools, locker rooms, government agencies, and many other applications.

It's nice and tall. It's relatively sturdy (solid in that its metal and should maintain its durability once it's assembled). Metal is not super heavy which helps with assembling it and getting it into place but metal can easily bend/dent if not handled carefully. Don't kneel or stand on it when trying to assemble it (that's really hard to do because accessing holes is challenging). Or if you do, try to put a pillow down or something before you step/kneel on a piece of the metal. That will minimize the potential of denting it. The set up is "easy" in that it instructions are pretty straight forward. However, accessing holes and placing the tiny bolts and nuts together while trying not to dent the metal is finicky. There are a LOT of nuts and bolts!! Lots of patience and persistence helps get you through this set up. We did not but all the hooks up because it was not necessary and helped cut down on the need to thread more nuts and bolts. You will need a ratchet type tool to tighten nuts and an extender to get at the many challenging areas. I'm not at all an expert or handy with assembling things so it took me over 4 hours.. Sharon. If you have a boy with sports gear, school stuff, shoes, backpacks, uniforms, and approximately 4,000 random things that somehow never have a home—get the lockers. These are great! I wanted something that could contain the chaos while still looking good in a bedroom, and these absolutely work. The black metal gives them a cool, industrial look that feels much more grown-up than typical kids’ storage. Most importantly, they are ROOMY. Each locker has plenty of vertical space, an upper shelf, and hooks inside, so there are actually designated places for clothes, uniforms, bags, and equipment. I especially like having three separate compartments because everything can be divided instead of becoming one giant pile. The ventilation slots are also a smart feature—especially when you’re dealing with sports equipment. Enough said. They feel sturdy once assembled, the recessed handles look nice, and the doors give you the greatest gift of all you can close them and no longer see the mess. We are using ours in a boy’s bedroom with football gear and other everyday items, and it fits right into the sports-themed space. If you’re trying to create some organization for an active kid without making the room look like a plastic-storage-bin warehouse, these are a winner. Lockers for boys. Oh joy! Now put your stuff away.. Jamilah. Toledo, OH. Fri Sep 11 2026
