This is an edit. I opened up the top and it split the wood. I can't prop it open as it would be dangerous for the cats. Disappointed, hope i get some response soon. Love this little cathouse! My husband and I built a deck to elevate the house for our two stray cats. They haven’t gone inside yet, but have been up on the deck to eat and check out the house. I have no doubt once they try it out they will love it❤️. It seems to be a fairly sturdy little house and was pretty easy to put together. I would have given it 5 stars but as you can see in the last picture one of the pieces came with a crack in it. We will seal the crack and I think it will be fine.. Tgreen. Missouri. Sat Aug 15 2026

A two-level wooden house for cats and small dogs that stays outside year round. The upper level is a covered balcony with a rail on three sides, so an animal can sit up high and watch the yard. The lower level is the enclosed den, reached through the front door or the side door - both fitted with clear PVC flaps that cut wind and rain without blocking sight or airflow. The frame is solid wood in black and ochre yellow, topped with a black asphalt felt roof sized at 23.6" x 22.8" to shed water away from the panels. Two short jump boards on the left side give smaller animals a step up, and a dark gray scratching mat on the right takes the abuse instead of the furniture indoors. Overall assembled size is about 23.6" W x 22.8" D x 29.5" H, with the main body at 20.5" square and the balcony rail standing 5.9" high. Each door opening measures about 8.3" x 9.1", and the jump boards are about 9.6" x 5.3" each. Plastic caps on all four feet lift the wood off wet ground. Assembly required.

It was easy to assemble. We have community kitties who are already checking it out. Great purchase!. Terra. Sylacauga, AL. Wed Oct 21 2026

The entrance is equipped with a door curtain to effectively reduce the intrusion of cold air and rain. The openable design facilitates access to the interior, making daily cleaning simple. Suitable for multiple stray cats.

Sturdy, well insulated and good for multiple cats. I covered one of the lower doors to keep the wind from blowing in by changing it to a heavier fabric. I also had to remove the other plastic door flaps because the cat was too afraid of them. (The flap alterations happened later and aren't shown in the picture) Easy to assemble and took about an hour. Some of the pieces did not have labels and it was difficult to know if we had the Velcro in the right direction. Keeps the rain out well. I had to lure her in with cat treats multiple times before she saw it as a safe place. Great buy, would recommend. Although, the cat perch on the top floor is not wide enough to entice the cat. It's too narrow. The bottom porch is perfect to hold a water dish and food to comfortably eat on.. Andrea. Tyrone, PA. Fri Oct 02 2026

Update after first rain. 0 stars. Steps warped-boards warped and nails fell out. It is not weatherproof. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like our cats like this. Have had it outside for them for over a week and aside from initial curiosity of checking it out, they completely avoid it. Hoping that changes. Building was a little time consuming, needed a second hand to get it assembled. The black grit on the ramps does flake off very easily.. Brittany. Greenville, WI. Thu May 21 2026
