These are heavier and sturdier than I expected them to be. I have not installed them yet, but the video makes it look simple. It was nice having it all in a kit. I'm not sure the price was any savings. I'm pretty sure it came to a bit more than I feel doing it a la carte would be, but, this way they supply the right stuff up front, so I'm good with it. Aside from shipping issues these tiles are great. They are strong and forgiving of less than desirable walls. Watch the videos and do exactly as they say and installation with be quick and smooth. I used these for my bathtub surround and being 68 doing it alone I was able to do it all myself. I did it in two days mostly because I was hesitant about doing it around the water lines. my plumbing hadn't been touched since at least the 50s and had longer bigger pipes than today. Cutting and drilling out the holes was never a problem. I will say though using a utility knife for anything other than trimming edges is difficult. Luckily I had a small table saw that worked great. The only reason I gave a 4 star review is the tub has a logo on the front that I didn't see on the photos. So far, everything looks good. I'm not quite ready to install it, but I unpacked it for inspection. I think it's going to look great in the guest bathroom, far better than a rod and shower curtain. I'm trusting that it's not going to be warped once I'm installing it. For me, I do think I would've preferred it to be gray tinted, but it's not a deal breaker. The packaging was decent. The only issue I saw, and it shows in the one photo, is that on one side of the glass the strips of Styrofoam used to brace and suspend the glass, we're out of place and a few were missing. The center of the glass was therefore not braced, open for damage. So far, I think I lucked out with no damage. I'll know more once it's completely out of the box so I can fully inspect the edges.. The shower walls look great! The only thing I don’t like is the corner strips. I wasn’t home when my installer put them in. He said it was very difficult to put them in and it would have been easier to just put a bead of silicone, but he put them in because they came with the kit. I wish he hadn’t put the corner strips in. They make strips make it look more like they are acrylic walls. It would have looked better without them. Also I can’t fit a corner shelf in because of them. Delivery was also an issue. The walls were over a week late which delayed the project. But overall I am happy with the walls.
