The table is very narrow, 15 inches. I made the mistake of not paying too much attention to the one dimensions photo and went by the other deceiving photos where it appears much wider, about twice its actual width. It is beautiful, sturdy otherwise, nothing was damaged, arrives pretty fast, and would do well on hardwood floors. I’m a bit bummed out bc it looks nice and only needed to be a bit wider. Chairs are beautiful. They're sturdy and solid. The directions, however, were awful. It took me a while to figure out. First chair took about an hour. The second only took 15 minutes. I'm 71 and did it by myself. Got the table on Monday. Delivery not so great, but the manufacturer did an excellent job of protecting it.
