These Solar fence Lights are great! I love the design they add to the wall of fencing. I love that they are solar powered. I charged them for 4 days per the instructions to insure the battery gets fully charged and easily hung them up with 1 screw. Because my fence is metal and wood the lighting patter details do not show up as much as the WayFair photo. Instructions: 1. You need to turn on the ON/OFF switch on the solar panel, keep the switch in the ON position. 2. You need to charge the solar fence lights in the sun for 6-8 hours. 3. You need to use screws to fix these outdoor solar lights on the wall, fence or other places. 4. You can see the fence solar lights light up in the evening or at night. 5. In winter, remove the snow or the dust from the solar panel so that it can be better charged. The working hours normally reduce at winter due to the soft/weak sunlight.
