This is the second ramp I bought to customize wheelchair access on an outside door. It is possible to cut it to the exact ramp height needed with a long bladed box cutter. It was’t exactly easy but we did get each ramps to fit exactly. The material is sturdy and can be left outside. Highly recommend if you need to customize a slight door height even if the rise is a little uneven.. Susan. Wed Aug 05 2026

EZEdgeTM Ramps are most often used for door thresholds, sliding glass doors, entryways, and all other transitions that impede a free path of travel. Installation is quick and easy, which significantly reduces the labor costs of removing vertical barriers. EZEdgeTM Ramps can be easily installed on most surfaces, including concrete, asphalt, wood, tile, VCT, and marble. They are available for barriers starting at 1/2” high up to 3” high in 1/4 increments. Simply choose the model closest to the height and the necessary width required.

This was just what I needed to make it easy to prevent the wheels of my rolling laundry cart from catching up on the 1 1/4" high threshold of the doorway. Most of the other ramps are 6" or more deep which I feared could cause someone to trip when simply walking through the doorway. Installation instructions suggest cutting the ramp's edge to fit perfectly flush against the threshold and using adhesive to affix the ramp to the floor. I simply laid the ramp on the floor and it stays put when rolling the laundry cart through the doorway. However, I would strongly recommend following the installation instructions if relying on the ramp for wheelchair access.. Patricia. Johnstown, PA. Wed Nov 18 2020

After over a month of use, this ramp has worked out great! It was ordered to help my elderly mother walk up and down the step to her home, and the 36-inch length makes it very easy for her. It is very sturdy, holding up even when a new water heater was rolled on it, and the adjustable legs help keep it steady on the uneven porch. It comes with two sizes of legs for customization. It's 36-inch width covers the front door, but putting it off-center allows her to stand to the side to open the screen door, made possible by its flat design. The metal surface has ridges to help prevent slipping, but the added felt pad improves it greatly. The pad has no adhesive, which made me skeptical at first, but it's rubber bottom has held on through extreme heat and recent downpours. It also cleans easily with a broom or by spraying with water. It's weight and size limit its portability, but those strengths make it a perfect permanent solution.. Javier. Fri Oct 02 2026
