This queen bunkie board was exactly what we needed for our new bed frame; our previous box spring made the bed way too high. The bunkie board comes in two hinged pieces, making it easy to handle. I have a guest room where I pushed two twin beds, and mattresses together to create a king bed. I got a strap to push the mattresses together, but there was still a 6-7" gap in the middle caused by the bed frames. That caused a divot in the middle of the bed. Problem solved with this bed board.
