And you can DIY your own standard-sized headboard and footboard for this metal platform bed frame by using the reserved holes.

The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. The slats have around 7" between them. I had a hard time finding this information when I was looking at the description.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

Frame was not stained or finished in backside. There was some overlapping stain, but it did not cover all of the frame. To me, this looked shoddy & cheap. I was disappointed to place the artwork I had had rendered in this frame. Only salvation was that the back will face a wall!. Sandra E. Pen Argyl, PA. Thu Oct 12 2023

It's crafted from engineered wood and features a plexiglass cover that guards against damage. The design doesn't include a mat, so your photos get maximum visibility from edge to edge. I needed a frame for a print. This frame was perfect because it was light weight. I didn't need a glass cover, so I didn't use the plexiglass that came with the frame.
