This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

Little flimsy, but great for the price. Made it work.. Keely. Norwalk, CT. Sun Jul 12 2026

This is perfectly nice for what it is: a mid-range bookshelf, so read the other reviews carefully and know what you're in for! This looks exactly like was described and in the photos (and other reviewers' photos) and I can confirm it's a pain to put together. I did it by myself which took about an hour and a half including redoing one section when I realized I did it backwards. That was my fault of not looking carefully enough at the instructions since they are fairly detailed and it's clear from the diagrams how each piece should be aligned - I just didn't pay attention! The worst part by far was getting the panels that form the curved top to curve and stay in place. It's doable with a lot of patience and would be much easier with someone else to help. Overall, it's pretty sturdy and I'll be using it for storage and display in the corner of a room, so I'm happy with this purchase as it'll work for what I need.. Rachel. United States. 75.2" Tall Large Farmhouse Bookcase Bookshelf, 6-Tier Bookshelf, Open Storage with Adjustable Shelves, Exquisite Frame Wooden Bookcase for Living Room, Home Office

Very pretty! Very tall which is just what I wanted. I was worried about the stability with it being so tall but the unit is very well built and very sturdy. Sturdy but not too heavy to move or set up. It comes with a brace to attach to the wall but not necessary for my use. It took an hour to put together. There were many pieces but all very well labeled and hardware all divided in baggies and labeled making it very easy to know you were using the right piece.. Brenda. TX. Mon Sep 28 2026

For what this is,, an inexpensive, tall narrow bookcase, it is decent. It is very hard to find the case the arrow so I was glad for it. But it’s definitely laminate MDF wood. For the price in the particular use, I needed it for it works really well. Also, I wasn’t sure if I would like the black interior, but it’s actually nice and makes it look a little more expensive than if it was all fake walnut MDF on the inside.. Leslie. Valley Village, CA.
