We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. Packaging was good also, very easy to break down and separate out the styrofoam and cardboard as I'm able to recycle both. However, the unit was damaged -- one leg where it curves to form the long "ski" broke clean through. I don't know whether to blame the packaging or the design of the unit (but it is very stout).
