The file cabinet looks great. It had a lot of pieces, but we got it together. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism doesn't work properly. If we install the mechanism as directed, then the top drawer will not close. If we install only the bottom drawer mechanism, then both drawers close, but only the top drawer locks. It will work for me but I can't lock the drawers as intended. It would be impossible to assemble and return. This is a heavy file cabinet. I love the color. The photo showed a height of 24.8" its actually 25.2" which made it not fit under my desk but the specifications shows 26" so should've read that. This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. The file cabinet is a nice style and size. The directions are only in drawings, so it took me installing one side incorrectly and undoing it to get it put together correctly. Make certain you install the wooden dowel plugs before you install the screws. Make sure when assembling the small drawer that you start assembling it with the right side too. :/ The cabinet was packaged well, but mine still had a couple scratches on the top. Not bad enough for me to return it, but annoying to me. The drawer for the files has an added wheel that installs on the front bottom center.
