I received my order, earlier this afternoon, delivered by FEDEX ground delivery service. These trees seem to be made of very high quality materials and great attention has been paid to every detail of the cedar foliage. Once placed, these trees should look quite good. It is my intention to place each tree in front of posts on either side of a timber-frame sign on the front lawn. Last year I had placed potted plants, in large planters, all along the base of the sign and the sign looked quite good until we received very strong gusty spring winds and the plants kept getting knocked over. Also, the deer decided that the plants should be part of the menu and, needless to say, the plants looked pretty rough in a short period of time. Some of our spruce trees also have spruce bud worm and this species doesn't care if they are eating spruce needles or cedar foliage. This is why I have decided to use these faux cedar trees. It will be interesting to see how well they hold up once the ground is thawed enough to install them in front of the sign. These are nice artificial evergreens. They needed to be fluffed after unboxing as I expected. But hold shape well once they’re out. They do have an odor to them so if you’re planning to use inside they might need to air out. The stakes it comes with are sharp and should hold well. These shrubs look so real. The quality is great and the branches feel really sturdy. The branches can be adjusted to hide the trunk. These are the best faux shrubs I have ever seen. Shown in my photos are the 43” and as you can see, they are perfect for one of the privacy planters. My planter is on my screened in porch, so these will have some protection from the elements. That said, they are made of a plastic that feels and looks so real, they would seem to stand up to sun and rain. They are also anchored inside pots weighed down with plaster so seemingly quite sturdy. They come compactly packaged in a manageable box. Remove and fluff much like a Christmas tree. I’d recommend taking your time with this process as it makes them quite realistic. Perfect for a porch entry, or planter boxes too! I received my artificial cedar shrubs, earlier this afternoon, delivered by FEDEX ground delivery service. I have ordered similar faux shrubs before and they really look good mixed in with live plants. Unless someone is looking at them close up it is hard to tell that they are faux shrubs. I purchased these faux shrubs for use in a couple of problem areas of my flowerbeds that dry out quite easily and the soil is difficult to keep moist.
