These are great. I initially got them for succulents but have tried them out with an Umbrella plant, Snake Plant, and now a Queen palm. I’m still trying to see what I like most about them but they would do good with any shallow plant or even as a drip container that’s nicer than most. This new series of planters is an amazing gift from nature involving no acid or liquid that pollutes the environment, already well processed in production. The special ferrous powder and iron preparation added in its coating penetrate deep into the cement. The surface oxidizes with sunlight and moisture in the air, giving out a blaze of color. When delivered, its surface has been oxidized for some time, explaining the colors it takes on. They will continue to change as time goes by like a watercolor painting of nature, recording the color of the wind, the smell of sunlight, and the temperature of moisture. Nice, resin dish! It is, looks and feels like plastic, if you are wondering about that. The color is accurate in the description. It is a large saucer. Standard saucer mounts from my research are 4.5 inches. This works on 4.25 and has notches like threads to hold it in place. These pots are deep and can hold large plants. There’s plenty of space for roots to form inside the pot. The pot has a plug in the bottom that can be removed to allow drainage. It’s plastic but gives the appearance of one of those large ceramic pots. The color of the pot is bright and vibrant. I had lime green and purple sweet potato vine in them and received so many compliments on how pretty the plant and pot was but unfortunately they died before I could get a good picture of them. Color is lovely, as pictured . Lightweight plastic, which is great for stacking and storing. However, there’s no drainage hole even though they come with a rubber stopper.
