This gate is perfect for keeping my cat in a room. The slats are close enough together that he can’t squeeze through and it’s tall enough that he hasn’t tried to jump over it yet. It’s very easy to open and close to walk through, and it’s attractive. One of the expander slats came with the plastic loop thing at the end broken off. I will probably reach out to the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement.. Lora. Havertown, PA. Tue Jul 12 2022

The Westwood Arbor features a beautiful swoop arch that adds a graceful accent to any yard, garden, or pathway. Lattice side panels and beautiful cedar wood create a welcoming entrance to your outdoor space. The Westwood is crafted from cedar and treated with an environmentally friendly water-based stain. Easy to assemble and install and comes with a 1-year warranty. Tools Required: Cordless Drill, Level, Stool/short Ladder, Shovel, Cement for permanent in-ground installation Approx. Time Commitment: 1 person, 2-3 hours.

The arbor is beautiful and strong. I gave it 4 stars because there is an issue. The lattice is made of very thin cedar (less than 1/4 of an inch) and it is stapled together. A few or the staples came loose during assembly and will need to be redone. I am considering adding stronger cedar boards on the sides to strengthen it. At this price point, I think the manufacturer should have used stronger wood for the lattice. There were also a few bumps and marks, but these were minor. I love the assembly service that Wayfair provided. The handyman was great. He was on timely, proficient and sensitive to my needs.. Judy. Maryland. Sun Aug 09 2026

Structure, height, and timeless garden appeal. The GA87 Garden Arbor adds definition and character to any outdoor space. Whether placed at the entrance to a garden path, over a walkway, or as a focal point in your yard, it creates a natural frame that draws the eye and elevates your landscape. Crafted from FSC certified Western Red Cedar, this arbor is naturally resistant to decay and insects, built to withstand the elements while aging beautifully over time. Precision-cut components and snug-fitting parts ensure a strong, stable structure, while the smooth sanded finish gives it a clean, refined appearance. Perfect for supporting climbing vines, roses, or decorative lighting, the GA87 blends classic design with dependable durability.

The packaging and quality of the cedar is very good. Like Teal, of Pomona, NY stated in their review: it’s a box of wood and bag of hardware and some very simplistic instructions. As a prolific builder and DIYfer I used my experience in assembling the arch. Fortunately, I have a pneumatic brad nailer with galvanized brads which made short time in nailing the many pieces together. I did not follow the slat spacing suggestions from the directions, rather having read the reviews, I made my own jig spacers after careful measurements. Pros: Good quality cedar; Looks excellent when completed; Assembly is straight forward once you figure out the spacing; Left unfinished the cedar will gracefully weather Cons: Directions need embellishment; Not for those wanting a quick assembly; Took over 6 hours to complete; Nails provided are not galvanized and should be of an outside product; Only 2 decorative wooden “arrows”---should be 4 for two on each side; Added longer and beefier exterior screws at the top/side joints for more strength. The Edgewood Privacy Fence Gate Kit is a stylish and durable solution designed to seamlessly complement your outdoor space. Built for compatibility with WamBam Edgewood Privacy fence panels and posts, this gate integrates effortlessly into your existing layout while giving you the flexibility to customize your project. Its modern two-tone design features sleek matte black aluminum framing paired with embossed composite boards delivering the warm, natural look of wood without the ongoing maintenance of staining, sealing, or painting. Crafted from advanced polypropylene composite, this gate is engineered for long-lasting performance in all seasons. The boards are reinforced internally with steel, providing added strength and stability while remaining lightweight and easy to handle during installation. Combined with a sturdy aluminum frame, the result is a gate that resists warping, cracking, and everyday wear while maintaining a clean, upscale appearance. Designed with convenience in mind, the no-dig installation system allows for a faster, more DIY-friendly setup using a pipe anchor and post pounder—eliminating the need for concrete or heavy digging. UV inhibitors and weather-resistant materials further protect the gate from sun exposure, moisture, and the elements, helping it retain its look over time. This kit includes all necessary materials and hardware for one gate, making it an ideal choice for enhancing privacy and accessibility in your backyard, patio, or pool area.

The tension-mount design allows the gate to stay firmly in place with rubber stoppers without damaging wall surfaces. The gate door opens in both directions for ease of movement from room to room. The latched gate handle locks/unlocks easily with one hand. Now your pet can be safe and comfortable in any space with a doorway 32.1"-36” wide. Designed for dogs 8.8 - 44 lbs. Extension to add 4” of width sold separately. Before installation: At first glance, your gate will have a “V-shaped” gap between the gate door and the mainframe. This is not a defect. This gap will close properly as you tighten the adjuster knobs. The adjuster knobs are designed to control the entire setup of the gate once the adjuster bolts and extensions are set in place. This is part of the overall design of the tension-mount gate.

It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip. Otherwise a good buy.. Andrew. Bedford, TX. Wed Aug 05 2026

I loved it! Kept it! Everything went smootly with install, except there were no predrilled holes for the four top end caps that covered the joint between the sides and the arched top, which were eight small brass screws, i ended up stripping them getting them in, but all the other parts were great. I’m going to need help putting the stakes to secure it, though, too. But the piece itself looks really good!. Dina. Los Angeles, CA. Mon Oct 05 2026

Your Gate Your Way. Unlimited Design Possibilities to show off your gate, not your frame. Patented low-profile, sag-free design, and intuitive installation - Just add wood!

I bought this gate kit at the beginning of summer and finally got it done! It was super easy to assemble i highly recommend watching the video instructions they helped a lot. Im not an experienced carpenter so it was super helpful. It took about 2 hours from start to finish and looks great! I ordered 2 more to make a driveway gate to match the fence we built too. Very happy with this product. My one complaint is they shorted us about 15 black screws and I had to use gray ones that I had to complete it fully. Again shorted 10 screws for 2 kits that I bought for the driveway gate. Still it looks great. I had to orient my gate hardware differently because im adding wheels and wanted solid wood on the side wheels will be attached to. i dont mind seeing the hardware on the opposite side. I like the way that looks as well the hardware is so attractive. Im happy with this, easy to assemble, product. Anonymous. Portland, ME. Wed Sep 17 2025
