Initially very difficult and frustrating to put together. The ballastars kept falling out when I tried the connect everything up. Then I layed the upper and lower channels on my deck and started on one end keeping the assembly taut with bungy cords. Use these connectors to install Deckorators® Classic round aluminum balusters in a deck or porch railing. The connectors make balusters installation easier and faster. This economy pack of 200 Connectors is enough to install 100 Classic balusters. To use, screw connectors onto top and bottom rails, and fit balusters over the connectors. The connector is almost completely hidden inside the baluster. Do not use on stair railings. For stairs, use Deckorators Classic Baluster Stair Connectors (part #74817).
