No digging. No concrete. Just a strong, permanent fence post that lasts for decades. Drive the included 1-5/8" galvanized steel pipe anchor into the ground using a sledgehammer or post pounder for a permanent, secure install. If leveling adjustment is needed, use the included patented leveling donuts to ensure your post is perfectly straight. Simply sleeve the vinyl post over the pipe, then attach your panels (sold separately). Designed to be universal for flexibility and ease of ordering- use as a line, corner, or end post. The Y-Latch is a swing latch that provides adjustability to your gate. Designed to work with aluminum gates and is composed of steel, so it will withstand the most extreme weather conditions. This latch is is lockable in two places for extra security and works with 2" posts and 2" uprights.

This Y-latch is just what I was looking for, it is a little bigger then i needed, but it won't work with my gate. the space between the gate and the post is too small. I think you need at least 2in.
