I like it, but it's not for everyone. This is unique--it's a big, low, orange chair with some BIG ridges in the corduroy. Be aware of things: 1. Because the corduroy ridges are wide and shallow, they don't trap dust as bad as narrower corduroy would (good thing!), but there are some imperfections in the ridges (see photo). 2. This is incredibly soft, but there's only a moderate amount of support in the seat. I weigh 170lbs and it feels fine, but if I were a bit heavier I might feel differently. 3. The back cushion is not attached to the chair with velcro or anything else (see photo), but since the back is curved, it does stay in place nicely. 4. As others mention, the seat height is NOT 18 INCHES, it's about 13 inches. And the footrest is an inch shorter, so your legs will be at a (slight) downward angle. I ordered this faux leather chair for my husband’s office, and it is just perfect for the space! It has a slightly more modern, modular shape, which adds a nice contrast in his more traditional office. Assembly was pretty easy and only required the included Allen wrench. Everything arrived in one box, and the cushions were vacuum sealed but fluffed up fairly quickly once opened. The faux leather arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or scuff marks. I even did a little scratch test with my fingernail in an inconspicuous spot to see how durable the material seemed, and it didn’t leave any noticeable marks. That made me feel like the material will hold up better than some other faux leathers I’ve seen. One thing to note is that this is a very deep chair. I’m 5’5”, and when I sit all the way back, my feet don’t touch the floor. For someone taller, that may not be an issue at all. My husband finds it very comfortable, and I do too. This is a lovely mid century modern couch. It arrived very well packaged but did have a small scuff on the back of one of the cushions. It was hard to out together with two people. The directions say to put the arm on, then the back but either way was hard. Once they were together it slides together to lock and the feet go on. I love this set and it looks nice and was a great value, however, the largest piece (sofa) broke while we were putting it together, and in a place that will significantly impact the stability of the piece. The other pieces were simple to assemble but I will admit a little unstable feeling, and the loveseat squeaks a bit when you move around while seated, so it just doesn't feel like the highest quality. However, I actually really love the look of the set and hope that it will last us a few years as long as we are reasonably gentle, and assuming we can get the parts replaced by Wayfair. UPDATE: Called Wayfair customer service and they supposedly sent out replacement parts right away. Was very pleased with the interaction, they are always friendly and efficient. Well, Wayfair DIDN'T merely send replacement parts...they didn't even send out a replacement of the full sofa--THEY SENT ME A REPLACEMENT OF THE ENTIRE 4-PIECE LIVING ROOM SET!! While this was lovely of them and now I have a backup set for our rec room, it was a huge surprise and actually kind of made me feel bad because only a small piece was broken and though not 100% stable, even with the broken part the sofa holds together fairly well. I originally gave the set 4 stars simply because of the piece that broke, and also just because the set is beautiful but not "plush" if you're sitting a lot, but I've upgraded to 5 stars after having it a couple of months because we have gotten great use out of it, spills clean up great on the upholstery in a house with pets and a kiddo, and of course, for Wayfair's excellent customer service.. I got the curry velvet color. It looks quite different than the color in the picture but I was expecting that from other photos. More deep orangey red brown than tan. But I actually think it's so beautiful! Took me and my boyfriend about 45 minutes to set it up, it was fairly easy. The bottom cushion is firm and the back cushions are nice and soft. I got it for my therapist office and I think that is a perfect combination for clients sitting on it regularly. This little sofa is really lovely! The faux leather doesn’t look plastic-y or cheap at all, and it’s comfortable and sturdy. Looks more expensive than it was. Assembly was pretty straight forward, except putting on the back — there wasn’t a clear image of which direction it went, so make sure you look at where the Velcro goes and that the flap is supposed to cover the very back of the sofa. OMG! It arrived today on time and very very very easy to put together. Literally just three screws in each leg and then you pop on the armrests. That is it! The color is perfect, the fabric is wonderful and soft. It is very easy to wipe Dog hair off of as well. It looks good and I'm glad I went with the green instead of the cream. It is firm and comfortable. During installation, you might need to leave one of the brackets lose in order to properly align it with its corresponding bracket.
