I do wish the lid fit differently though - in that the way it is designed is that it recesses down into the space of the pan - so if you want to use the lid as a lid rather than a platter - you need to take that into consideration on how full your dish is in the pan. these are great pans, uniform and cooks well. I am very impressed by this beautiful pan. The size is perfect but finding a lid to fit has become challenging. I haven't used it yet but read the instructions and even googled more instructions on how to cook with it. I'm sure it will be good. My first piece and will add to it a little at a time.
