While making a pie for guests, one sister mistakenly placed the prepared apples in the dish first. She decided to lay the pastry crust on top, and turn it out after it finished baking. The result was unusual but delicious, and it became the signature dish of hotel Tatin. Received this loaf pan to replace my tired aluminum spring form cake pan that was starting to fall apart after years of use. This one is made of sturdy cast iron that will last a lifetime. No metal utensils only silicone ones will keep the inner lining scratch free. Planning in making smaller sized lasagnas. Bread pudding, banana bread and brownies for the family and keto versions of these treats for myself. Everything bakes beautifully in this and releases very easily.
