I read all the reviews before I hit the button on this one and I totally agree with all the positive ones. This is a gem and I’m very picky. Very sturdy. Even the curmudgeon husband liked it and didn’t throw a fit having to put it together (which was easy and he had no issues),, which is always a huge plus. I had a knee surgery and I needed a chair with a higher floor to seat measurement so that I could get up without help. This one was perfect for that. Impressive product. Very well packaged. Truly solid oak hardwood - no filler pieces. Once assembled, the chairs were completely level and very sturdy. And most importantly - they are comfortable. The assembly instructions are minimal but intuitive. In their language, “concave legs” means the area for the screws that is carved out - the larger hole. I am very pleased with the minimalist elegance of the style. I bought them to pair with a maple oval farm table; the rounded, curved backs and the gold tones in the hardwood suit the table perfectly.
