Pillow protector appears to be very well made. UPDATE: Washed for 1st time and found stitching on one case completely undone leaving a 3 inch hole that needs to be repaired. Seems completely airtight moisture resistant. Instructions stated to be sure pillow and protector are completely dry before zipper closed. This will prevent possibility of mold growth. Haven’t washed yet but it appears sturdy enough to resist the hot water washing that is recommended. I think it is a really pretty statement piece, especially against cream pillows. Since it is "busy" it does well with a couch, bench, chair that is probably one color in my opinion. You can tell the quality is excellent! The zipper is gorgeous LOL. I am only giving 4 stars because one part of the embroidery was already snagged an coming apart upon delivery. Other than that I think it a unique and beautiful piece that should be passed down. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is not something you'll see at a store.
