Purchased open box. Received cooler packaged horizontally. Fortunately, it works. No visible serial number on the external packaging. Also not a problem due to Wayfair, but reversing the door is nearly impossible and is still a work in progress. The small plastic filler/caps are extremely hard to remove. The caps breakoff leaving the filler in the threads. I only got 2 of the six out whole. I will need to somehow remove the plastic inserts without damaging the threads for the replacement screws.. I was nervous about ordering this but to my surprise, I received it damage free! I did everything according to the instructions such as not plugging it in for at least 24 hours and then not filling it for another 24 hours. The temp is great for beverages. BUY IT! I was so concerned about buying an appliance which would be delivered by who knows who. I didn't want to spend the $2,000+ the local stores were charging for similar items. The instructions were clear and repeated so you couldn't miss them (let sit flat for at least 24 hours before plugging in) and it was easy to put the door on.
