Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor. Love this cabinet set! It looks great, feels great, and is going to look so sharp in our space. It arrived very well and safely packaged, though be aware that MDF is *heavy* and you're going to want/need some help to get it inside. The instructions are clear and everything is fairly straightforward with regard to assembly.
